Hummingbird Hawk Moth
Man was this little guy hard to get a shot of. I had never seen one of these before I had to look it up and according to Wikipedia they are not normally found in North America. I guess I got lucky.

Ok so this one has been getting some good attention on Flickr so here it is for everyone else. I really need a super wide angle lens that would have made this picture a whole lot better.

Ok so I was on my way to wrestling practice with my son Bailey and just had to pull over and take a quick shot. I really need to get a wide angle lens! I guess that needs to go to the top of my wish list.

Do you ever wish you could back to the days when life was so much more simple? These days life moves way to fast, nobody slows down for anything. Why are so many people in a hurry to rush their lives away?

Good Morning!
"I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day."

I have always liked photos of vehicle light trails. This was one of the first photos I took when I got my camera. I didn't use a tripod like I know I should but I just happened to be out on the front porch playing around when I heard a car coming and this was the result. I hope to get out soon and actually set up for a shot like I'm supposed to. Never the less I still like this shot.

Oh how I would love to be here right now! I took this shot Easter morning right after the sunrise service in North Myrtle Beach.

Imagine!
My son Bailey and I love to look at the clouds and talk about what we see. Most people don't even look up at the sky let alone try and guess what the clouds look like. I truly believe my imagination has helped me get through life up to this point and I hope I never lose it.

Serenity
There has always been something about Black and White photos that appealed to me. Now don't get me wrong there are a lot of pictures out there that should not be in black and white but when you see a nice shot it's quite captivating.

Well this isn't one of my best but it's still one of my favorites. This also happens to be one of my first photos taken with my Nikon D5000. The Hummingbirds love this Trumpet Vine, it blooms all summer and they visit it on and off all day long.

Doing what he does best!
One of the reasons I got into photography was so I could photograph my boys competing at their wrestling matches.
Red Tailed Hawk
Birds are amazing creatures, I can sit and watch them all day. This beauty likes to hang out and watch the guys work on a project I am currently working on.

You know most often I find that some of my best shots have come when I am not looking for a great shot. Take this one for instance, I was out golfing with my two sons and came upon this beautiful blue heron. I was just out here to have fun with my boys and take some photos of them having a good time and ended up walking away with this great shot. You just never know!

I love shooting in the fall when the colors are so vibrant. I took this shot at the North Carolina Zoo around mid November. The colors caught my eye but I think the reflections of them made the shot.

Took this shot during some storms that were rolling through the area while I was visiting my sister and her family.
