Full of hot air
Went to the NC Hot Air Balloon Festival this weekend in Statesville, NC what a great time the family had. The kids were quite skeptical but in the end they really enjoyed it, I believe this will become a new yearly tradition.

Old Mill
I love the look of this old mill in Greensboro NC. The mill is still in use and is a wonderful place to visit. My son Bailey and I took a ride there today to take some shots and had a wonderful time together.

Dancing lights!
My son has this fiber optic light tree in his room and the other night I decided to photograph it. After taking a couple shots of the tree itself I started to play around with the camera a little and this is one of the shots I came up with. Using a slow shutter speed i just moved the camera slowly around the tree and this was the final effect. I love just playing with the camera and having fun.

Ok who doesn't like a beautiful sunset? I took this shot while driving over to the store with my oldest son (he was driving of course). The sky was lit up wonderfuly. I think I was imbarassing my son because of me hanging out the window with my camera.

Garden spider
I got this shot while visiting my sister and her family this weekend. I love these spiders besides looking really cool they spin wild looking webs. I had to squeeze into a fairly tight spot in order to get the shot so the quality is not as good as I would like.

Gods rays
I saw the suns rays shining through yesterday on my way to work and couldn't help myself. I went straight to my downtown greenway project just so I could capture them coming through over the train tracks. I only wish a train had been coming through at the same time.

This is the very beautiful Proximity Hotel in Greensboro, NC. We decided to get out for the night and I have been wanting to check out this hotel since it opened. The Proximity was the first LEED Platinum hotel in the US and is definitely worth a visit.
